South Carolina’s Tech Prep initiative has spun off a number of important and widely useful policies and programs, including a statewide articulation agreement among high schools and technical colleges and a series of career cluster curriculum guides. The Pathways to Prosperity legislation is seen as a priority for the state in terms of preparing students for postsecondary education and emerging careers. AP courses are also seen as a high priority as evidenced by their inclusion in the state report card.
