Tech Prep is a longstanding pathway within the state and has one of the strongest structures to promote transition between high school and college. Nevada’s colleges and universities have set up dual credit pathways with the surrounding high schools, and the state has received a grant to expand the AP program to low-income students. The Department of Education allows school districts and charter schools to develop online learning programs.
