Currently the Governing Board of Higher Education is attempting to ease the transition from high school to college. While there is a lot of local control over different secondary programs, the institutions of higher education are creating structures at the college level to facilitate transition. Colleges accept AP as well as CLEP scores and Flathead High School just developed an IB program. Colleges are also creating college connections through the dual credit and Tech Prep programs.
